With Zillow Flex, you're not paying upfront for lead generation — you're paying a referral fee on closings, typically 25 to 40 percent of the commission. That can work really well for agents who need predictable monthly costs and don't want to pay for leads that don't close. But it has a very different impact on your margin. When you close a deal from a Ylopo lead, you keep your full commission. When you close a Zillow Flex deal, you give back a significant percentage. Neither is inherently better — it depends entirely on your cash flow situation and how you prefer to structure your business."
